What to expect when you're expecting (a new ICP)

All you need is a bit of cleaning and a lot of space!Out with the old, in with the new! Ten minutes apart from taking out our old ICP-MS for its well-deserved retirement, the new one arrived. Talking about good timing!
Even when some of us were mesmerized by the size of the boxes, we all took the time to organize the new space for our instrument, scrubbing the floors and bringing in new (hopefully easier-to-move) tables. The only thing missing was a sign saying "WELCOME!"
Now we are just waiting for the team from Agilent to come next week and help us set everything up! The excitement is in the air!
By the way, if you ever find yourself moving an ICP here is one very important tip: Make sure it fits on the elevator before getting inside with it!
