Welcome, new ICP!

It may be April, but between the cold, the excitement, and the number of boxes to open, it does feel like Christmas.Today we started unboxing our new ICP-MS-MS! Britta and Carolin have been checking all day the setting up of the instrument.
While Agilent needed just one technician to set it all up, we needed 3 Ph.D. students to fold and throw away the (very strong) boxes where everything was delivered.
A cake was spotted in the seminar room to celebrate the occasion. Thank you, Caro!
By 10 AM the instrument made its way to the lab, and by midday, the vacuum pump was running, which nobody noticed since now we have a quiet cover, which makes the lab way more relaxed.
While several connections still need to be done, together with tests and an introduction to the operation of the instrument, we are all very excited to start this new chapter of the lab!
